This page is intended for all current members of T.S.W.V. De Meet, but it can also give potential members an idea of how we run our association.
At De Meet we have statutes, which were drawn up when our association was founded. They describe the foundations of our club and how we are organized. You can read the full version in the following PDF: Statutes
Unfortunately the statutes are only available in Dutch. Ask a board member when you need help with translation.
To become a full member of De Meet, you need two memberships: one with De Meet and one with the Tilburg University Sports Center.
The Sports Center membership is required if you want to join our Monday track training sessions, or any strength or spinning trainings inside the Sports Center. This is because, even though the trainings are organized together with Meet members, the Sports Center facilitates the trainings.
Please note: without a Sports Center membership, you cannot participate in these Monday and indoor trainings. You are, of course, more than welcome to join our Thursday training sessions and all other events that are not organized through the Sports Center.
The Meet Rondje has been the iconic lap of our association for decades. We begin on the historic "Bels Lijntje", riding at a social pace and catching up with each other. From Alphen to Chaam, the first sprint begins for those who want to push themselves.
The route then continues towards the unique town of Baarle, where the second sprint starts and ends in Poppel. On the way back to Tilburg, there’s one more chance to test your legs in the third sprint towards Goirle.
We finish the lap at the Sports Center, where we end together with a well-deserved drink!
At De Meet, we train on Monday and Thursday at 18:30. In winter, these times may change, so please check the week planning for the most up-to-date schedule.
